Main duties of the job

As an NMC registered Nurse or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner you will be expected to provide the highest standard of care and safety for patients in recovery. You will be competent in all aspects of clinical practice within recovery which will include maintaining clinical observation of patients, interpreting the significance of data to the patients status and effectively communicating the data within the team.   In turn we will support you to help you grow in your role and take your career in the direction you want to go. You will have recent clinical experience gained in a recovery environment and have sound infection prevention and control knowledge. Just as important is your desire to develop and learn in the role, your communication skills and your ability to support junior staff.
