Calling All GPs Are you looking for a new clinical role to build or develop your portfolio career as a GP? Perhaps you need the freedom of more flexible hours. Perhaps you just relish a new challenge? When you join the multidisciplinary team in our Warwickshire Out Of Hours (OOH) service, youre back in control. This is the perfect chance to use and develop all your skills and expertise as a General Practitioner, providing diagnosis, treatment, advice via face to face and telephone consultations and referrals to other healthcare resources, via primary care centres and home visits. You will also use our electronic prescribing system to effectively manage the patient. To do so, you will have use of GP Connect making patient records more easily accessible to all appropriate clinicians when and where you need it. Likewise you will use GoodSam to review photographs and conduct video consultations to assist in providing the best quality care possible for our patients.
Our various Warwickshire Out-of-Hours service locations are in Warwick, Nuneaton, Shipston, Rugby, Coventry and Stratford. All of which offer the opportunity to conduct your face to face and triage sessions. We can also consider those who are looking for remote working.
We are looking to add to our existing workforce across Self Employed and Bank contracts
Main duties of the job
About The Job As a GP working in OOH, youll be treating patients face-to-face or via Telephone Triage with the flexibility to choose whether youd like to do this in one of our Primary Care Centres as a base shift, or at the patients own home as part of our home visiting shifts. The OOH service is open from 6.30pm 8am Monday Friday, and 24 hours over the weekends, with various shifts on offer between these times. You will also have the flexibility to choose when you would like to work in order to fit in with your lifestyle. What We Can Offer You

About us
To be considered for this role, you need:
- GMC registration, inclusion on the GP Performers List and a valid CCT.
- Experience to confidently manage acute and chronic presentations for adult and paediatric patients, with a proven ability to maintain high standards of care
- Excellent listening and communication skills, with experience of urgent care assessment and good IT skills.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience working in OOH, preferably using Adastra
