We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our brand new prison, HMP Millsike which is located in Full Sutton, Yorkshire.

HMP Millsike is the first all electric prison in the UK which opened in April 2025.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £27582 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
• Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

Qualifications required

• English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Excellent communication skills
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Good IT skills and IT literacy
• Ability to work within a busy environment
