We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Nursing Associate to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wakefield, a category A Prison located in West Yorkshire.
You would be undertaking a University course while training to become a qualified Trainee Nursing Associate.Hours
The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns- 4 days over a 7 day rota.
Monday to Friday Either 7.30am-7.15pm or 7.45am-4.15pm
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £28058.2 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Trainee Nurse Associate, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, well-being and clinics
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care
- Support the nursing and pharmacy teams within the healthcare centres, on wings and house blocks

Qualifications required
- Maths and English at GCSE grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2
- NVQ 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
