We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HM Dovegate a category B Prison located near Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.

In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

Hours

Monday to Sunday: 20:30 - 07:30.

In this role you will be working 7 nights on and 7 nights off.   Salary This position is a full time position  and youll receive an annual salary between £42,094 - £47,466 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Provide emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
• Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
• Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

Requirements

• Current HCPC professional registration    
• Proven post-registration ambulance experience
• Evidence of continued professional development
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.

As a paramedic you will;

Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
