We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Primary Care Lead to join our Regional Senior team within the North West Region.
The North West region covers eight prison sites, including HMP Altcourse, HMP Thorn Cross and HMP Preston, among others.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
37.5 hours
Monday to Friday- 9am-5.30pm
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £60,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
The role includes £4,000 car allowance.How will we support you?

Main duties of the job
As a Regional Primary Care Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- provide nursing and Allied Health Professional (AHP) leadership within the Region
- work closely with the Regional Medical Lead you will provide leadership to our primary care teams locally, supporting the network of clinical leads across the region
- become the advocate for improving quality and training within the service, and will be a member of the Regional Senior Team
- Ensure that clinical risk management and continuous clinical audit are an integral part of care

Qualifications & Experience required
- Registered Nurse (Adult)
- Specialist qualification or considerable experience relevant to Health in Justice Services or equivalent experience in primary care
- Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of a wide range of approaches to the management of patients, demonstrated by advanced clinical reasoning, advanced clinical assessment skills, ability to work autonomously
