Main duties of the job
You as a Bank Physiotherapist, will be supporting the wider clinical team in the treatment of patients and will be responsible for working on your own patient caseload.
Youll be providing treatment to patients identifying particulars such as; range of movement, strength and additional care needs. You be offering advice, guidance and instructions to our patients, their families or carers as well as some professionals and trainees.
You will be conscious of health, safety and hygiene aspects in the treatment areas and physiotherapy equipment are clean, fit for purpose reporting any issues to the appropriate member of staff. Youll assist with the management of stock and equipment, ensuring good levels and ordering when appropriate, pre-empting any shortfalls.
About us
As one of our Bank Physiotherpists you will be degree qualified with HCPC registration. Hospital experience is preferred but not essential.
This position will require you to have an empathetic, as a Physiotherapist you will be a driver of motivation, persuasion and reassurance aiding that patients positivity and treatment.
Strong communication skills will be key, both written and verbal. You will be communicating daily with a wide range of people both internal and external, updating documentation and patent files.
Ability to work as part of an effective team playing your part to deliver the best patient care you can.
