Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of Practice Plus Groups G.P. Services, based around its Primary Care Centres (PCCs) including the line management of the reception staff.
  • To supervise the operation of Practice Plus Groups G.P. Services, based around its Visiting Cars including the line management of the driving team.
  • Ensure the highest quality of service delivery for Practice Plus Group patients, whilst maximising resource utilisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff by means of regular appraisal necessary to provide a quality service in the Primary Care Centres and Visiting Service.
  • Ensure that reception staff receive an ongoing training needs analysis and personal development.
  • Ensure that driving staff receive an ongoing training needs analysis and personal development.
Salary & Benefits

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Accuracy and careful attention to detail with effective communication skills and excellent organisational skills
  • IT literacy
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience with problem solving and troubleshooting
  • The ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Good knowledge of the local area and good map reading skills
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • An understanding of healthcare, experience of supervising staff and skills in interpreting/analysing data is desired
