We have an exciting opportunity for a Business & Data Manager to join the team at HMP Leeds, a category B male prison located in Leeds city centre. We have a free onsite car park, as well as excellent public transport links. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the entire Admin function, including the Admin Team Manager, plus 6 Admin staff.   This role would be perfect for a data focussed individual, with a keen eye for detail who wants to move into management, or build on their experience of leading a team!   Hours:   This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.   Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary of between £34,500 - £38,500 per annum - depending on experience.   How will we support you?

Main duties of the job

As our new Business & Data Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Having responsibility for the entire Admin function onsite providing line management and leadership to the team
  • Be a key part of the onsite Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
  • Ensure that services are being delivered efficiently and effectively, to the highest possible standard
  • Be responsible for data and reporting for the healthcare team using SystmOne and Excel
  • Manage effective, patient centred services, including clinical administration
  • Work with other service lines, including Primary Care, Substance Misuse and Mental Health
  • Supporting the Head of Healthcare as necessary

Our new Business & Data Manager will ideally have:

  • Previous management or leadership experience - this isn't essential, although experience managing a team would be beneficial 
  • A passion for all things data - data is a day to day part of this role, so you must be used to working with large quantities of data and reporting on this
  • The ability to delegate effectively
  • Any experience using SystmOne would be beneficial
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office
