We have an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at HMP Stocken, a category C mens Prison located in Rutland
Hours
The site currently offers Monday - Friday: core office hours
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £28,690 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- working in collaboration and supporting the mental health practitioners
- Supporting anti-psychotic monitoring
- willing to work toward phlebotomy, ECG & patient observations
- develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
- link and support with social prescriber within our healthcare team
- You will be expected to support people to access care and treatment appropriately within the prison setting, working independently with lone working at times.

- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care - desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
- You'll have the ability to treat service users with respect and dignity at all times, adopting a culturally sensitive approach, which considers the needs of the whole person.
