Job summary
Are you a problem solving leader with the ability to make decisions under pressure, as well as having a keen eye for detail? Practice Plus Group are looking for an experienced manager/supervisor to support our busy Out of Hours GP Service based in Uxbridge. Primarily you will supervise the wider rota planning team which consists of rota administrators, reporting directly into the London Regional Rota Manager. Alongside this you will ensure the rota team meets relevant CQC standards, actively monitor, evaluate and report on service performance ensuring all business needs and NQR's are met. You will also be monitoring and evaluating the performance of staff by means of regular 1-2-1s and monthly catch ups, with the help of regular training and development activities when necessary. This is a full time permanent role with regular office hours, working 5 days between Monday - Saturday.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for recruitment, selection and induction including review of new rota administrators, including their ongoing training Line management of Rota staff and administrators in conjunction with PPGs HR policies. This will include performance management, time-keeping, sickness/leave monitoring and advance adjustments to the rota and HR dashboard where necessary. To ensure all updates internal and external to the service which are applicable to the Call centre team and effectively communicated with team. Carrying out annual appraisals and monthly 1-2-1s Working with Service Managers and Medical Leads and other managers/ supervisors so that operational matters and clinical issues do not conflict and are understood Ensure care and motivation of all rota administrators
