Are you a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join our team at the brand new Practice Plus Group Birmingham Hospital and make a real difference in patient care.

As a GP at Practice Plus Group, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team. Your responsibilities will include standard GP duties such as face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, managing prescriptions, reviewing laboratory reports, and handling paperwork with protected admin time.

You will play a crucial role in assessing and managing the healthcare needs of our patients, developing care plans, providing health education, and referring patients to other care providers when necessary.

We offer flexibility in your working days, ensuring that we maintain excellent patient care throughout the week.

Main duties of the job

 You will:   

  • Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and paperwork.
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions in patient care.
  • Develop care plans and provide health education.
  • Maintain accurate and clear consultation notes.
  • Prescribe medication in line with clinical guidelines.

  • Recognised degree in medicine and GMC registration.
  • Completion of a two-year foundation course in general training.
  • Specialist training in general medical practice.
  • MRCGP accreditation and inclusion in the General Practitioner Register.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Experience of working in a GP practice
