We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join our team at HMP Wayland, a category C Prison located in Norfolk.

The site currently offers Monday - Friday core office hours
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £36,000 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Business Manager, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Assist in the development of management information and reporting systems which will support managers (clinical and non-clinical) in the delivery of operational services.
- HMP Wayland are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and ability to provide support and guidance, in relation to Business, Quality and Performance. You will be responsible for completing reporting for the prison, working with senior management and informing senior operational management of any ongoing performance against the key service targets.
- You'll have to carry out general administrative duties within the prison, as well as working within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries. Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration team, so will be competent in support a team and inspiring them to achieve and develop.

- Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
- NVQ 2 Business Administration or equivalent
- Working experience of a clinical patient administration system (PAS) (SystmOne preferable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
