Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP & YOI Drake Hall, a category D Prison located in Stafford.
HMP & YOI Drake Hall is female and young offenders closed prison that focuses on rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

Monday - Friday (Occasional weekends)
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £53,077 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Substance Misuse Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Be responsible for the clinical delivery and operational management of the Integrated Substance Misuse Service.
- Provide Outstanding evidence based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to and acting on feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
- Provide clinical expertise and expert advice for primary care services throughout the prison to drive up clinical performance. Deliver Lead the team to deliver, non-judgemental care that is safe, high quality, patient centred whilst meeting CQC requirements, following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.
- Inspire Excellence in your colleagues by pro-actively leading the service and motivating the team recognising that our workforce is our most valuable asset. You will forge strong links with our partners and stakeholders, providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within and feel proud of.

- Registered professional with current registration (NMC - Nurses, HCPC - Pharmacists); and a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Experience of working within substance misuse services
- Experience managing teams
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standard
