We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP The Mount, a category C Prison located in Hertfordshire.

 Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £54,600 per annum - depending on experience & 2 year Golden Hello (£2,000 in Year 1 of service and £1,500 in Year 2 of service - conditions apply).

Main duties of the job

As a Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • you will be responsible for providing the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the Primary Care health team across an integrated healthcare service, contributing to the strategic direction of the service. You will support your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, confidently communicating treatment options, and initiating supportive care plans, working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • There will be an expectation for the post holder to lead/contribute to clinical and consumer audits. You'll be responsible to the Head of Healthcare, to ensure the management of the service meets its contractual obligations
  • develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
