We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at HMP Rye Hill, a Category B male prison with capacity of around 664. HMP Rye Hill is based in the village of Willoughby, near Rugby in Warwickshire. 

This is a fantastic new opportunity to join the healthcare team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care, and the healthcare team are fully supported. HMP Rye Hill is a modern prison, with a focus on community engagement, and offers prisoners fantastic opportunities and facilities.    Hours:   This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.   Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £26,145 per annum - depending on experience.   How will we support you?

Main duties of the job

As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:  

• Dealing with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times
• Provide a high quality admin service to the healthcare team
• Coordinate clinics and chase referrals (internal and external)
• Arrange and chase hospital appointments, prisoner release and transfers, and arrange appointments for follow on care

Our new Administrator will have:

• Experience within an administrative role / setting - any experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage (GP surgery, hospital etc)
• Experience of using SystmOne would be beneficial
• Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports
