Main duties of the job
As a Sterile Services Technician in our Southampton Hospital youll work as part of a team to maintain the supply of sterile instrumentation to the operating department, which is essential for the safety of patients under the organisations care. There will be plenty of learning opportunities including internal modules and while it would be an advantage if you have worked in a similar environment it is not essential. More important though is your flexibility, your knowledge of infection control, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.
