Havent got experience working in a healthcare setting, no problem at all, we would still love to hear from you.As our Engineering Services Manager, you will manage the transition and change plan from outsourced to in-house FM delivery model, embed the new engineering services team within Practice Plus Group whilst ensuring continued maintenance provision and reporting is uninterrupted.
This is an initial 6-month fixed term contract with potential to go to a permanent contract. You will be home based, working 9am 5pm Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
As our Engineering Services Manager you will be responsible for -
Responsible for the delivery of a Change Management programme associated with a model change to the FM hard service provision, to incorporate long term planning around team development and management.
Responsible for the delivery of services to the highest standard, ensuring the effective management of staff & the provision of excellent customer service.
To assist with the effective management of M&E Performance, including the incurrence of financial penalties, to ensure that all services are delivered to the contract specification.
Ensure contract compliance with all auditing bodies both internal and external.
To ensure appropriate training provisions on induction and use of equipment and to identify training needs for the service.
Manage all associated subcontracted services and to ensure that subcontractors are able to carry out their duties in a safe and timely manner.
Champion continuous improvement, energy efficiency and environmental improvements
To deputise for the Head of Facilities Management, Hard Services in their absence.
About us
With your experience as a manager in maintenance & engineering, you will also have
NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical.
Good knowledge of Building Services.
Great time management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience of delivering Change Management programme.
Desirable experience of working within a Healthcare setting.
