We have a new casual opening for an experienced Healthcare Assistant, designated to theatres in our Emerson Green Hospital based in Bristol.

Working as part of a strong team delivering high quality patientcare, you the Healthcare Assistant will be assisting with the effective smooth-running of the unit, placing the patient at the centre of everything we do!
Reporting to the Theatre Manager, you will be assisting with clinical and non-clinical activities supporting trained staff in our theatre environments.
As the Healthcare Assistant, you could be expected to assist with supporting patients undergoing local anaesthetic or sedation procedures to taking responsibility for keeping accurate and confidential records either on a paper format on via computer.
Youll be heavily involved in the preparation of the clinical and theatre environments, ensuring all relevant equipment is in situ and ready for use prior to procedure and cleared away / restored where applicable post procedure.
Main duties of the job
It is envisaged that the Healthcare Assistant will have past working appreciation in a hospital and / or theatre setting, experienced with assisting trained operating and medical staff.
You will be used to playing your part when working as part of an effective close team.
You will be an effective communicator at all levels both written and verbal able to walk the patient through the procedure and acting as an advocate where needed to seek advice on their behalf.
Being experienced as a Healthcare Assistant you will be used to working in line with the NMC or HCPC professional codes of conduct and standards.
