We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Dovegate, a category B Prison located in Uttoxeter

Hours

The site currently offers 0645 - 1815 Mon - Fri 0745-1815 Sat, Sun and BH

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 30660 per annum - depending on experience. Part time considered.

Main duties of the job

As an Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Provide outstanding quality based patient centred care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. Focussing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.

Qualifications required

• NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
• Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
• Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
• General GCSE education or equivalent

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
