An exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Centre Gillingham in the role as Governance Manager has become available.

You will play a key role in supporting the team in providing a very high standard of effectiveness and efficiency, to establish effective structures and procedures for a sound governance structure and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with these. 

Main duties of the job

As our Governance Manager, you will be responsible for 

• Managing, influencing, advice and coordinating the team to ensure compliance with key performance indicators, clinical effectiveness and risk management.
• Seek continuous opportunities for service improvement through policy development and implementation
• Be proficient in the use of digital technology for efficiency, communication strategies and investigation processes
• Have an understanding of good governance process and best practice, implement national guidance and legislation 
• Be able to build strong working relationships quickly with a diverse set of stakeholders

About us

You will be a registered NMC Nurse with:

• 5+ years relevant experience in hospital-based medicine
• At least 2 years working at a senior level
