We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Preston, a category B prison located in Preston, Lancashire.
This position is full time but we will also consider part time. Youll receive an annual salary of between 31,500 and 38,115? - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job
You will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) to be considered for this role. You will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will;
- Ensure that the quality management system including Training, SOPs, Forms, month end reporting are complete and adhered to.
- Ensure that all records of transactions are accurately recorded
- Promptly perform any recall operations for medicinal products in line with MHRA CAS alert and recorded on the iAuditor system
- Ensure that all customer complaints are escalated to the RP
