As the Wellbeing Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible to support all the healthcare services within HMP Stocken with health promotion and wellbeing events for both our patient and staff group. Working with the service leads to co-ordinate forums, patient engagement, patient feedback, health promotion events and patient Newsletters. You will work closely with all teams to support patient wellbeing and ongoing development of the service as well as work with the SMT to gather the feedback from events to help focus service improvement

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience of working in a Health Care Assistant role or similar with a particular interest in Mental Health.

Main duties of the job

To apply for this position you must have obtained a level 2 in Health and Social Care with the ability to work autonomously within a busy environment and maintain professional standards in line with policy and procedures.   Interested in professional development?

HM Prison Stocken is a Category C men's prison located in the parish of Stretton, in the county of Rutland, England
