Main duties of the job

As a GOC registered Optometrist, you will work within our services between our regional macular services and within our central surgical and outpatient hub in Rochdale, contributing to the effective running of clinical activity.

This is an exciting role, supporting an Optometrist who is keen to develop and take on more clinical duties alongside using already established experience to manage a range of conditions.  

This role does require travel which will generally be across our North West regional mobile units, there is however flexibility with working hours and shift pattern, we would welcome those who want to strive for an improved work life balance. Sites include Bury, Longridge, Bamber Bridge, Tameside, Chorley with the potential for new locations to join our well established services.

About us

We are looking for optometrists with Hospital experience to join our team.

Specialist areas offered at Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology include cataract surgery pathways, glaucoma assessment and treatment pathways and well established aged related macular degeneration (AMD) pathways.
