As a Bank Mental Health Nurse you will be an integral part of the healthcare team and will be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation of patient care and standards. Youll carry out and potentially develop nurse-led clinics, reviewing patients histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment, and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to.

You will also be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse and primary care teams. You will have an interest in Substance Misuse and have had some exposure to this environment.  

Main duties of the job

You will be a qualified Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever changing. Youll have a flexible approach working within a team that encourage new ideas and opinions on how to improve the service.

Youll receive a bank hourly rate of 19.72

 HMP Highpoint is a category C adult male prison for sentenced prisoners, holding up to 1323 men across 15 residential units. The prison site is split across two sites - North and South.  

The dedicated team in the Health in Justice division of Practice Plus Group make a real difference across over 45 prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres.
