We are looking for an experienced Substance Misuse Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams. Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required. Working closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role. You will model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence. This post will be covering 5 days a week Monday to Friday.Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health with a current professional qualification (NMC) and will carry out the role with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. You will have an RCGP 1 & 2 or willing to work towards achieving the qualification. Knowledge of healthcare policies and best practice would be advantageous, as well as a proactive approach to problem solving. A prescribing qualification would be desirable for this role but is not essential.

HMP Doncaster is a category B local resettlement prison situated in South Yorkshire. Doncaster houses a male population of up to 1145 individuals, approximately 200 of whom are young offenders aged 18-20.
