When you join the multidisciplinary team in our Clinical Assessment Service in North West London, youre back in control. We are looking for people that are able to commit to a variety of base working, home visits and triage sessions.   This is the perfect chance to use and develop all your skills and expertise as a General Practitioner, providing diagnosis, treatment, advice and referrals to other healthcare resources, via the phone and face to face. You will also use our electronic prescribing system to effectively manage the patient. Based in the dedicated Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) supporting our NHS 111 call centre, youll be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as a lead clinician in a multi-skilled team that includes advanced nurse practitioners, registered nurses, UCPs, mental health and dental nurses, prescribing pharmacists and pharmacy advisors.  We are proud of our strong, stable infrastructure that ensures clinical safety and provides senior-level clinical support, 24 hours a day. Youll be able to keep your skills up to date with a CPD programme and can expect education and training tailored to your needs and future plans. We work closely with the NHS to provide opportunities to learn, innovate and contribute new ideas.

Main duties of the job

What you will need: GMC registration certificate and inclusion on the GP Performers List with a valid CCT. Experience to confidently manage acute and chronic presentations for both adult and paediatric patients, with a proven ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care. Excellent listening and communication skills, with experience of telephone assessment and good IT/keyboard skills. What you will get: Competitive pay and indemnity reimbursement.
