We deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. You will also provide a highly specialist support and and champion the development of junior team members and to other members of the healthcare team at site. You will have an active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities, such as complex case reviews, MDTs with the Mental Health team. This is a full time role, working sessions in the morning between 9am and 1pm, and in the afternoon between 13:30 and 5pm.

Main duties of the job

We recognise training and development is key, therefore we provide a training portal to facilitate your needs as well as have an in-depth induction for all staff whether you have experience of working in prisons or not. You will gain insight into Mental Health and Substance Misuse, as well as access to a variety of training opportunities with the opportunity to work towards your RCGP level 2 and other qualifications should you wish.
