As our Finance Manager you will be primarily based at our Gillingham Surgical Centre (Kent), with occasional travel to our office in Reading. Working from home occasionally will also be considered.

You will be a key member of the units management team and will provide finance understanding to the unit, drive business performance and decision making via the proactive utilisation of financial information and business analysis

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager Rachana, you will develop good working relationships with the local team and Hospital Director for Gillingham Surgical Centre.

Main duties of the job

You will be a qualified accountant with extensive post qualification experience with an ability to communicate and influence at all levels.  In addition, you will have:

• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
• Demonstrable evidence of predictive and forecasting modelling, planning and assisting with strategy
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet targets and deadlines
• Thorough and attentive to detail
• Able to use own initiative
