Job responsibilities

Medloop, a pioneering tech-enabled healthcare provider, is seeking a Newly Qualified GP to join our team through the NHS Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in person, depending on the requirements of the Primary Care Network (PCN), with working hours ranging from 16 to 40 per week. Eligible applicants must be on NHS Englands medical practitioner list as outlined in section 91 of the NHS Act 2006, hold full registration with the GMC on the General Practitioner Register, and have completed their GP training (Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice) within the past two years. They should also demonstrate professional integrity with no suspensions or regulatory restrictions and agree to Medloops employment terms within the PCN framework.

• ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: To be eligible for this ARRS-funded position, candidates must: Registration and Certification: Be included in NHS Englands list of medical practitioners as per section 91 of the NHS Act 2006. Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the General Practitioner Register. Be a Newly Qualified GP who obtained their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice within the last two years, verifying completion of the postgraduate training required to practise independently. Professional Standing: Not be prohibited from providing services due to regulation breaches (e.g., NHS Performers Lists Regulations). Not be suspended from practice by the NHS or from the GMCs list of medical practitioners. Not be subject to any interim suspension orders from the GMC under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983. Employment Terms: Agree to be employed directly by Medloop for a PCN and commit to the required working hours. Be employed on terms at least as favourable as those outlined in the Model terms and conditions of service for a salaried general practitioner employed by a GMS practice. Restrictions on Previous Employment: Cannot be reimbursed under this scheme if previously substantively employed as a GP in general practice, unless explicitly agreed upon with the commissioner. Temporary Employment: May be employed in temporary capacities, such as locum doctors, but this must be explicitly stated and agreed upon with the commissioner. Other Requirements: Have the legal right to work in the UK. Hold appropriate medical indemnity insurance covering all professional duties. Successfully complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Possess a valid digital badge for secure system access and patient care delivery. Be willing to engage in ongoing professional development as required by the ARRS.
