Job summary
At Evolve Psychology Services, we empower our clinicians with the tools and support they need to focus on delivering exceptional care to children, young people, and their families. You will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team specialising in high-quality, evidence-based autism and ADHD assessments, through both NHS-funded and private pathways.
This role will be for the Digital Team and is a remote position. In this role, you will work closely with the Digital Team Manager to support the smooth running of our remote team, ensuring timely and accurate assessments that lead to meaningful outcomes for families. You will contribute to team leadership, including line management of a small group of staff, mentoring, and skills development, as well as supporting recruitment, quality assurance of clinical reports, and the resolution of operational or client-related issues. You will also have the opportunity to conduct diagnostic assessments yourself, offering both clinical expertise and leadership within a collaborative, supportive environment.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of a busy neurodevelopmental remote team, ensuring smooth coordination between clinicians, administrative staff, and families. You will liaise with the Bookings team to manage client-specific requirements, troubleshoot logistical challenges such as clinician absences, and help resolve complaints or support families through the appeals process.
You will provide leadership and mentorship within the team, supporting onboarding, ongoing skills development, and identifying training needs. This includes line management of a small group of clinicians and offering clinical guidance in complex cases. You will work closely with the Team Manager to monitor resources, identify gaps in clinical processes, contribute to developing new tools or procedures, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
Additionally, you will support recruitment and participate in interviews for clinical roles, conduct quality assurance checks on diagnostic reports to ensure professional standards, and deliver high-quality assessments yourself. Your combined focus on clinical excellence, team leadership, and operational support will help ensure accurate diagnoses and effective outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
About us
At Evolve Psychology, we do things differently. Founded in 2014 by Dr Laura Powling, our mission is to combine care, connection, empathy, and clinical excellence with no compromise. What began as a small practice delivering expert witness and neurodevelopmental assessments has grown into a national independent psychology service, providing NHS-funded assessments across the UK and, since 2023, in Dublin. We are clinician-founded and led, fully registered with HCPC and affiliated with the British Psychological Society, CORU, PSI, and the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. Our award-winning multidisciplinary team of over 100 experts specialises in autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia assessments for children, young people, and adults. We prioritise evidence-based, person-centred care that supports the whole individual, not just a diagnosis, and offer clinicians opportunities to contribute to training, research, and neuro-inclusive initiatives. Guided by compassion, clarity, and integrity, we are growing sustainably, with clinics across the UK and Ireland and a commitment to high-quality, meaningful impact in every service we provide.
