Evolve Psychology Services is an award winning independent psychology and neurodevelopmental practice. We hold NHS contracts to deliver neurodevelopmental (Autism and ADHD) assessments and are looking to expand our team to undertake these assessments in our two clinics in Harrogate and Huddersfield, remote only roles are also available.
Applicants must have experience of working with children and young people/ adults with neurodevelopmental conditions and as well as experience of undertaking MDT Autism and ADHD assessments in line with N.I.C.E guidance.
The current team comprises of Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurse practitioners, Specialist CAMHS practitioners, Assistant Psychologists and support workers.
Full supervision and relevant ongoing training is provided as part of this role. Salary is dependent upon skills and experience. Part time work may be available depending upon service needs. Annual leave WTE is 28 days plus bank holidays.
Main duties of the job
The role will be to undertake face to face Neurodevelopmental assessments (autism and ADHD) for children as part of a multidisciplinary team for those clinicians based in our Harrogate and Huddersfield clinics but some aspects of the role undertaken remotely. We will also consider candidates for fully remote roles who do not live a commutable distance to either of our clinics. The assessments may include some or all of the following depending upon professional background/ experience. Training will be provided where required in line with service needs alongside supervision:
- Parental/ Developmental interviews to explore the client's developmental history relating to Autism, ADHD and Learning. This may include the service structured interviews, the ADI-R, ACE, ACE+ or Young DIVA assessments.
- 1:1 play based/ activity sessions with the young person/ adult as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
- ADOS-2 Assessments
- QB Test
- Cognitive Assessments (Psychology applicants only)
- School observations
- Liaison with schools and other professionals
- Additional psychometrics
- Multidisciplinary team meetings
- Neurodevelopmental Screening Assessments
- Report writing: Neurodevelopmental screening reports and full Neurodevelopmental Assessments
