The East Cornwall Primary Care Network is a leading innovator in the new and developing Primary Care Network model
We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and forward-thinking administrator to join our Primary Care Network Team across East Cornwall. We see this role as a key component in supporting the work of the growing PCN team, supporting us with the coordination of our team, delivering excellence in patient healthcare and to help support our GP practices in ensuring all patients receive the best possible care and service.

The seven practices across East Cornwall have formed a provider company- Kernow Health East Ltd which will operate the East Cornwall Primary Care Network (PCN). The neighbourhoods you will be recruited to include Saltash (Saltash Health Centre and Port View), the Rame Peninsula (Rame Group Practice), St Germans (Quay Lane Surgery), Liskeard (Oaktree and Rosedean) and Looe (Old Bridge Surgery). You will be based at Peninsula house in Saltash or working remotely, with occasional requirement to work in one of our seven practices.

Main duties of the role
- ECPCN are seeking a PCN Administrator to support the PCN operations team and the PCN Strategic Manager. This is a new and exciting role within the rapidly changing world of Primary Care as we seek to make the most of the new challenges in the NHS.
Job responsibilities
- To support the implementation of practice requirements & ongoing developments.
- To provide general office support to the PCN
- To work closely with the Strategic Manager and the Operations function of the PCN with general administration duties, minute taking, diary management, project management support.
- To support PCN members and partner organisations, promptly responding to requests for advice, information and support and escalating as appropriate.
- To arrange & attend PCN meetings and take minutes/actions.
- To assist in collating and managing statistical information on behalf of the PCN.
- To support the delivery of the PCNs projects and work
- To work with the PCN Manager to support communications and dissemination of information to the PCN members and wider partners
- To provide and receive exceptionally complex, detailed and often sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.
- To use a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to deliver information in what can sometimes be extremely emotive situations.
- You will frequently work unsupervised and using your own autonomy.
