As a Bank Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 24 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.

- You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you're qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that's even better. Shifts would be mainly nights and weekends.
