Infection Prevention Lead Leicester Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Part time | Up to £42,000 Pro rata depending on skills and experience 15 hours per week

Main duties of the job

As an Infection Prevention Lead Nurse, you will: Liaise with the lead microbiologist and support the Matron as the DIPC Manage the infection prevention audit schedule and lead our infection prevention link team Produce an annual Infection Prevention programme and train the clinical and non-clinical team Facilitate the quality assurance review and produce the annual infection prevention report Assist with policy development, carrying out action plans and improving best practice Support clinical governance in the hospital

Having a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym in Leicester has led to a close working relationship and the Hospital was a forerunner for the Nuffield recovery plus programme. The Hospital has been rated as a 'Good' hospital by the CQC and achieved this rating across the 5 key lines of enquiry across all departments inspected
