Main duties of the job

You will : Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around in a close knit team headed by our Head of Cardiology Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care Be highly motivated and have an excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills Have a flexible approach to working pattern is essential Be compliant with safety standards of the Association for Peri-operative Practice and adherence with the Royal College of Nursing Core Competencies for Imaging Nurses.

In addition to the roles of scrub nurse, the successful candidate will have opportunities to further their knowledge as a Pre-assessment nurse.   • Be a UK resident and have right to work permission
  • Be registered with the NMC and have at least 2-year experience in a busy Angiography lab
  • Have competencies in Phlebotomy, Cannulation and Intravenous drug administration
  • Be BLS/ILS certified
  • Possess a vast knowledge in Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular and Neurovascular diseases and their treatment
  • Have a very good understanding of Radiation protection.
