Job summary
As an MRI Radiographer at our Glasgow Hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification is desirable, SOR IV cannulation certificate and some MRI experience, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.
Main duties of the job
As an MRI Radiographer, you will: See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy. To work without supervision when required, to perform high quality diagnostic examinations in a diverse range of MRI procedures whilst observing the current MRI Local Rules. Assist the MRI Lead Radiographer as required with the day-to-day operational management of the MRI Department, being responsible for the smooth running of the MRI scanning list. Participate in developing the service and in put in training new radiographers. Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
