Job summary

Deliver quality pathology services and taking a share of covering on-call service out of hours. Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting, through to quality control.

Main duties of the job

Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables. Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures. This is part of our ongoing quest to deliver the very best experience possible for patients.

Our Pathology Team at our Brighton Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Senior Biomedical Scientist specialising in Blood Sciences.   • The ability to understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
