Sonographer

Up to £30.00 per hour, depending on experience

As a Sonographer at our Cambridge Hospital, you'll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you're caring by nature with excellent teamwork skills.
This role calls for equal excellence in technical and people skills.
As a Sonographer, you will:
Need high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
Deliver high quality ultrasound imaging & reporting for a varied caseload within the department.
What are we looking for in a Sonographer?
You will have a BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Postgraduate diploma / DMU in Medical Ultrasound.
Post registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting to include Gynae pelvis scanning.
Experience of managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will also be an advantage.
You must have excellent communication and IT skills, along with a good understanding of how to encourage and promote effective team work.
