The post holder will be responsible for efficient administration in all aspects of patient appointment booking and reception duties, processing referral forms, and responding to face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries. The role requires strict adherence to policies, managing workload, and supporting administrative colleagues in meeting departmental objectives. Please note this is a patient facing role. As an Administrator, you will:

  • Efficiently manage patient appointment bookings and reception duties
  • Process referral forms and liaise with GP's, Consultants, and other hospital staff regarding imaging reports and appointments
  • Respond to face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Manage workload effectively and support administrative colleagues in meeting departmental objectives
  • Work with CRIS and PACS computer systems
  • Assist in the smooth and efficient running of Radiology services
  • Image transferring between hospitals
