Main duties of the job

Provide a warm welcome on arrival to all visitors to the department - patients, consultants and visitors. Transfer clinic lists, in a timely and accurate manner, onto our Patient Information Management System (PIMS) ensuring attention to detail and checking patient details to avoid creating duplicates records. Answer telephone enquiries, offering advice and assistance on general enquiries. Monitoring and associated actions in connection with departmental email inboxes Allocating clinic rooms and co-ordinating bookings with medical secretaries, consultants, and other members staff. Checking in patients and booking future treatment appointments at the desk and via telephone
