Main duties of the job

To have satisfactorily passed and been deemed autonomous in the respiratory competency framework required the site. To have competency documents signed off prior to starting on call work and reviewed yearly. To arrive to the hospital within 60 minutes of being called. Communicating with the MDT on site to deliver excellent care and management in an ITU setting. Communicating effectively with the physiotherapy team to plan and deliver excellent care for all patients requiring Respiratory Physiotherapy Care including the ventilated patient. Communicating, documenting and handing over information appropriately to the day time working physiotherapy team. To participate in a cascade list of Respiratory Physiotherapists, to be contacted when required by the ITU Medical Team. No commitment to the current on call rota.

As a Physiotherapist at The Manor Hospital, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent Respiratory skills, and you're committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people. Key Responsibilities:
