Cambridge Nuffield Hospital - Full time Radiology Manager

Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Radiology manager to lead the radiology team. Our state of the art hospital, is Cambridge's premium private hospital, boasting an outstanding CQC report . here at Cambridge we offer a full range of medical and surgical specialities, with expertise in Cancer care and surgery, orthopaedic surgery (including robotic surgery), neurosurgery and specialist CYP services. Hospital facilities include 4 theatres, 32 bed ward, 12 bay Day Case Surgical Suite, Oncology day Unit with Maggie's support centre on site, and a very busy Outpatient department which includes diagnostic imaging. backed by the latest diagnostic imaging facilities including X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, echocardiography, wide bore MRI and CT scanning we offer immediate assessment and diagnosis.
You will lead and support your team to deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care. Reporting to The Director of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for the management of the Radiology Department, Clinical Governance, Audit compliance, infection prevention, health and safety and risk analysis for the Radiology service. We're the UK's largest Healthcare Charity and this is an exciting time for our national Diagnostic Imaging service. We've invested in state-of-the-art equipment and we've just welcomed our new Diagnostic Imaging Director into their crucial role. As a Radiology Manager at our Cambridge Nuffield Hospital, you've worked in a similar role and you bring the relevant knowledge, competencies and qualifications in radiology and leadership skills. You're also HPC registered and an excellent manager of people, with a real passion for developing your team to its full potential. And you'll really relish this opportunity to help shape the future.
As a Radiology Manager, you will:
Plan, allocate, assess and effectively communicate with your team
Champion, lead and inspire your own team to provide exceptional services to patients
Be able to think analytically and problem solve
Manage resources effectively and work closely with the SLT to develop the Radiology service
Lead on the implementation of IRMER regulations within the hospital
Build strong working relationships with consultant radiologists and consultants, SLT and the wider hospital teams
have experience in RIS/PACS
have a passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services
have a BSc in diagnostic radiography and significant post qualification experience as a senior Radiographer
