As a Theatre Clinical Leader for Anaesthetics and Recovery at our North Staffs Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC/HCPC. With excellent leadership skills, you hold post-registration experience in care of patients, pre and post operatively, in everything from Cardiac to Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae and Urology.
Main duties of the job
Provide strong clinical leadership to the theatre department, leading and managing a clinical team
Support the Theatre Manager in the efficient running of the theatre department
Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety
Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care
Work well and communicate effectively with consultants and anaesthetists who are experts in their field
Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery
Champion a supportive, enabling working culture in the theatre department, promoting staff development and safety
Develop and carry out clinical audit
