Job summary

Based in at Salford Quays, Greater Manchester with at least 50% offsite on audits. You would be providing project management of the auditing of Haemophilia centres across full audit cycle, support peer review working party and its chair in developing and finalising the standards, support the site audits and audit team members, including attendance and support writing up of audit reports.

Main duties of the job

- Manage complex, cross functional audits of Haemophilia centres across the UK.

- Develop a timetable for all site audits and assemble the site teams.

- Act as key contact and manage relationships with key stakeholders based within Haemophilia centres that are subject to audit.

- Act as the key contact for both sites and auditors during the audit period

- Ensure the pre-site documentation and checklists and support sites in their preparation for audit ensuring consistency of audit methodology of audits

- Providing advice and support to the audit lead in line with pre-agreed audit timelines

- Managing inter-dependencies between all participants

The United Kingdom Haemophilia Centre Doctors Organisation (UKHCDO) charity is an association of medical practitioners who work within the Haemophilia Centres of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales and have an interest in the care of people with Haemophilia or other inherited bleeding disorders.

UKHCDO was established in 1968 to improve haemophilia care, research into bleeding disorders, their treatment epidemiology, and complications and to facilitate healthcare planning. We have been a registered charity since 1991.

Job responsibilities

You will also be expected to carry out the following day to day activities (but not limited to):

Qualifications

Essential

  • A graduate degree with equivalent specialist experience is a must; ideally a degree in an analytical, technical, or management discipline, backed up by additional and continual professional development.
  • Project Management qualification / certification

Desirable

  • Educated to masters degree level with equivalent specialist experience.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of audit / compliance and applying compliance controls or audit best practices.
  • Experience managing all phases of project management including issue / risk identification and mitigation, change management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communicating overall project status
  • Experience of leading or contributing to audit processes and procedures and operating to standard service and project management techniques.
  • Experience of work with management and process owners to report audit test results and collaborate with all parties to develop and implement remediation action plans
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced level PowerPoint and advanced to expert Excel skills (Excel certification will be required post-hire)
  • Proven mathematical and English writing skills, and demonstrate application to a high standard.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the need for careful analysis of data to produce clear findings.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities under deadline pressure and be self-motivated with a strong aptitude for team collaboration
  • Committed and Reliable - commitment to complete tasks accurately, with sufficient detail, efficiently and effectively
  • Experience in maintaining key project documentation, including regular status reporting and data gathering cycles
  • Extensive experience in the collection, analysis, interpretation and prioritisation of internal stakeholder and external customer requirements.
