If you are successful you will become part of a development team with a very varied role. You will be working on systems using the latest technologies that have a direct positive impact on patient care, with the opportunity to be involved in the projects/applications for the full life-cycle from initial discussion to implementation.

Along with colleagues in the Software Development Team, you will be working in a Microsoft development environment and will be actively involved in the design, full stack development, testing and ongoing support of bespoke web-based applications.

• Strong .NET framework knowledge

• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
• Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business

What you will be doing:

Discussing clients requirements with Service Teams

• Producing specifications and coding
• Testing the application in controlled, real situations before going live
• Deploying the application to in-house infrastructure and Azure
• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running
• Recommend improvements to existing applications as necessary

Development tools and skills:

• Programming languages C#, ASP.NET
• Visual Studio Integrated development environment
• Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
• Database management

Salary up to £55k (depending on experience)
