- Independently performing, analysing and reporting complex diagnostic tests eg lung function, FeNO, reversibility studies and sleep studies

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist to play a key role in running Perspectums diagnostics services at our Oxford Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). In this role, you will deliver high quality diagnostic testing and uphold high clinical standards.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Delivering a wide range of advanced respiratory and sleep investigations

- Supporting the Lead in maintaining high clinical and technical standards, audits and implementing new technologies and pathways

- Independently performing, analysing and reporting complex diagnostic tests eg lung function, FeNO, reversibility studies and sleep studies

There are also progression opportunities to mentor staff and support with training and competency development.

Our CDC is open Monday to Sunday 7:30am-7:30pm with weekend shifts paid at an uplifted pay rate. Our Physiology shifts usually run from Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend work may be required and this could be subject to change in the future.

  • We are looking for an excellent communicator who is adaptable in their approach and enjoys working in a multidisciplinary clinical environment. To be considered you must have:
  • -Qualified experience as a Respiratory or Sleep Study Physiologist
  • -Extensive experience in respiratory diseases and sleep disorders
  • -Independently carry out lung function and sleep reporting
  • -Previous experience performing Spirometry and other physiological tests
  • -ARTP membership, be a STP graduate or hold a Clinical Physiology degree
  • NHS experience would be beneficial however is not essential to be considered for this role.
