Modality
Mid-Sussex Division has a vacancy for a full-time Salaried GP, with a specialist interest
in lifestyle medicine to assist
us in the delivery and expansion of our already established and successful lifestyle
programmes including the Diabetes Reversal Programme. Practical
experience in lifestyle medicine is not an absolute requirement as you will be
mentored by a lead GP in house. The overall programme is led by Dr Vipan
Bhardwaj FRCGP and Dr Helen Rutherford FRCGP who are subject matter experts in
therapeutic carbohydrate restriction with an international profile having

This job is
suitable for individuals who are compassionate, patient focused and have a real
passion for working in a GP super partnership, and who are committed to make
real changes to the health care services provided within Primary Care to
improve patient care.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a GP to join our salaried GP workforce alongside
providing lifestyle medicine sessions, (this would include group consultations
which are often held in the evenings) We
will provide you with the supervision necessary to safely de-medicate diabetic
patients and lead group consultations. You will be trained in facilitating a
holistic approach to patient health and well-being, emphasising the importance
of movement, sleep, stress management, diet and exercise.
