Job summary

Modality Partnership Mid Sussex has full/part time vacancies for a Salaried GP. The postholder will be passionate about patient care, working at one of the sites within theModality Mid Sussex division and contributing to the innovation within the partnership in the way care is delivered. This job is suitable for individuals who are compassionate, patient focused and have a real passion for primary care, and working within a larger GP super partnership, who are dedicated to making real changes to the health care services provided within Primary Care to improve patient care and the work life balance for our staff.

Main duties of the job

The role is a patient centred role delivered from your nominated practice site. The postholder will need to confidently evidence key skills such as excellent verbal and written communication skills, clinical skills and empowering patients to manage their individual health conditions. The usual duties of a salaried GP will be expected patient care through regular appointments, home visits and the general administration for patient care. The postholder will work in collaboration with their local practice team, engaging the use of the associated roles that are be attached to the practice.

We are the largest GP super-partnerships in the UK, with a list size of 450,000 patients and with a multi-disciplinary workforce of 1500 staff. We are unique, always looking at ways to improve our delivery of services through the implementation of new and innovative solutions that we can scale across the organisation. Recent innovations have included the use of robots to facilitate the remote filing of blood results and the development of document management team. These new initiatives are underpinned by our governance team to ensure patient safety.

  • IT skills (Use of Clinical Systems) experienced in use of a primary care clinical software system, preferably SystmOne and other remote consultation technology.
