Modality Partnership
Wokingham Division has a full-time vacancy for a Health Care
Assistant. The postholder will be a high performing HCA, working at one of the
following sites Wokingham Medical Centre or Burma Hills Surgery. We are
seeking dedicated postholders to join our team and who can display our CARE
values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
This job is
suitable for individuals who enjoy interacting with patients, delivering high
quality patient care, and look forward to working closely with the nursing team
and wider practice team.
The job is not
suitable to people who are not resilient to working in a fast-paced environment,
working flexibly in line with ever changing demands in Primary Care and the
wider NHS.

Main duties of the job
This is a
hands-on patient facing role; we are seeking individuals to join our team who
are caring, compassionate and confident, who demonstrate effective
communication, excellent customer service skills, good IT skills and the
ability to support patients with interventions and/or queries. The postholder
will be a key member of the practice team, responsible for undertaking patient
health checks inc. BP / ECG monitoring / height and weight, taking blood
samples, health and wellbeing advice and promotion.
